We were extremely saddened to hear of the death of our colleague Nan. Our thoughts and deepest sympathies are with her family, friends and loved ones.
Nan worked at the University for almost 40 years, and received an Honourable Mention for Outstanding Admin and Support in the Students’ Union 2016 RATE Awards, and a nomination in 2019 – achievements she was incredibly proud of.
She enjoyed life, visiting new places on holiday, and was an avid football fan. Nan loved spending time with her family most of all, including Shane, her beloved German Shepherd.
Nan was a much loved and respected member of the University community and will be greatly missed.
Given that the University Chaplaincy is closed, and we cannot leave a written message in a book – it is hoped that people will leave their message here to be added to this online book in Nan’s memory.
